• Threats: Droppings causes slips and falls, accelerates the aging of structures and statues, carries diseases such as cryptococcosis, toxoplasmosis, salmonella, and food poisoning; carries other pests like fleas, lice, mites, and ticks
• Prevention: Make roosting and nesting areas inhospitable, fill voids and sloping resting areas, prevent landing by using devices such as scare balloons, plastic birds, or plastic snakes
